Mary Jo is a medical intuitive, energy
psychotherapist, founder and director of the Energetic Healing Program, and
Energy Medicine Partnerships. In 1980 Mary Jo launched Virginia Satir’s
first training of Avanta Network a process for becoming more fully human.
Through her leadership Healing Touch and Energetic Healing was brought to
Australia, New Zealand, South America and South Africa. Her work includes
partnerships with the Aborigines of Australia, Maori of New Zealand and
Sangomas or traditional healers of South Africa.
Alexandra Jonsson, R.N., B.Sc.N. , CHTI
has been involved in the teaching and practice of energy based therapies
since 1983. Her background includes hospital based nursing and working as a
volunteer offering healing work at the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation.
Alexandra currently has a private practice offering counseling, stress
management and Healing Touch therapies.
Susan Morales - Kosinec RN,MSN,HNC,CHTP/I
is the former Executive Director of Healing Touch
Canada Inc. She has been a Therapeutic Touch practitioner and teacher since 1980. She teaches
internationally and has been involved with the Healing Touch Program since 1990.Susan brought the first
Healing Touch courses to Britain and the Netherlands. She was the International Director for the American
Holistic Nurses' Association for five years and served on the Board of Healing Touch International Inc. for four
years. She has also served as Past President of The Canadian Healing Touch Foundation Inc.
Susan has a background in hospice work and the care of AIDS patients. Currently she teaches Healing Touch
and has a private practice in Healing Touch and Therapeutic Touch in Toronto, Canada.
As a Torah observant Jew, Susan applies the wisdom teachings of her faith to her healing practice. She
continues her study of Jewish mysticism & Kabbalah.
Betty Petersen,
RN, BSCN, CHTP, CHTI
Betty has many years of nursing and teaching experience. She is a
Certified Spiritual Healer, Certified Educational Kinesiology consultant and instructor and Past President of the CHNA.
Betty has also studied a variety of other energy therapies which she uses in her independent nursing practice,
"Therapeutic Balancing", in Calgary.
Marsha Read, BED, CHTP
Marsha is a musician, teacher and healer. To complement her 30 years
teaching experience she received her certification as a Healing Touch
Practitioner in March 2000. Her home-based HT practice is balanced
with teaching Healing Touch, facilitating Urban Retreats and Virtues
Programs, and leading drumming and chanting circles. Marsha is
passionately interested in the connection between sound and energy-based
healing. She brings her love for humanity and desire to help you on
your journey towards healing and wholeness. Marsha's company is called
"Sound Balance".
